very nice and helpfull staff, nice views from terrace during breakfast, fantastic location - city center, close to corso, cable car, roman thatre.. parking is not a fun in taormina but staff is doing what they can
its absolutely not a 4* hotel, rooms very outdated, terrible decoration, old (very old) furniture, bad condition of bathroom, no fridge/bar, old crt tv, probably not watchable from bed, small balcony with space for only one chair. parking possibly problematic and expensive if you are not lucky enough. beach club (nice one) is in different small town, at least 15 minutes driving by car. not possible to go there by foot. shuttle available (3 times there 2 times back). for that money - my worst value for money experience ever. but what i`ve got, this is typical for taormina (old expensive hotel with problematic access and parking problem). consides staying somewhere in nearby towns and come for nice walks across the city.
The hotel is well located, close to the centre of Taormina but not on a main road.
The pool facility is only open from June onwards.
Staff went out of their way to assist with our comfort and accommodations. Very good restaurant, excellent views.
It is a few metres away from the centre of Taormina , so it is very handy.
The only negative was that the A/C was not switched on yet and it was very hot. Hotel does not have fans either.
Location is excellent , and what i read about it on your website I found. Parking facilities are fantastic.Staff are excellent and very helpful
Beautiful old fashioned hotel, rare example of Fin de siècle experience in wonderful Taormina. We spend only one night here (I wish we could stay for a week), received free upgrade and room with terrace facing Etna. Hotel staff was really helpfull. Everything was fine, including parking that was arranged in a nearby garage.
All the staff made us feel at home. The hotel is spotless clean. The view from the balcony was outstanding with Mount Etna in the backgroud and the sea on the left.
It was relaxing, nice and clean hotel, helpful staff and location is excellent
Thanks to availability, they offered us a room with balcony and magnificent views of the etna vulcano, it was just great
The staff were polite and the breakfast was pretty decent. The views from the hotel of Etna and the sea were stunning.
This should not be a four star hotel. We paid extra for a 'suite' but arrived to find a small room with a large balcony with a glass ceiling (sun bathing in a green house) - very basic (no mini bar, sky sport TV etc..) The website states beach & pool facilities are at the "Paradise Beach Club in Letojanni at about 10 minutes distance from the hotel". This is a lie. The beach is about 25 minutes by car alone!! If you dont drive then you can get the free hotel minibus. We did this three times and each time it arrived about 20/30 minutes late to collect us. From leaving our room to getting to the hotel pool took about 1 hour!! Avoid this hotel.
It seemed everyone that had already checked into the hotel when arrived was unhappy with their accommodations and were asking to be moved to another room. The accommodations did not seem like a 4 star hotel as it is advertised. It definitely needs a face lift. Very dated.
Loved the room and the view of Mt. Etna and the town and the sea, it was outstanding. Had thr same view at breakfast every morning, but looking at it from our room was fabulous. Loved the room as well, lots of charm and romance.
No complaints. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Excellent location right near the main street and all the shops and restaurants, but yet on a quiet and peaceful street with stunning views of the sea and Mount Etna. The room was clean and had a terrace with a great view. The beds could have been more comfortable but it was ok for the 3 nights we stayed. There is a beautiful public garden right underneath the hotel with views to the sea as well. The hotel has access to a pool & beach and offers a free shuttle service to get there with different departure and return times throughout the day. It was very easy to take the shuttle to and from the beach and only took about 15 minutes each way. Continental breakfast was good too.
Restaurant with scenic view in hotel
